Training Overview

This is a 3-day in-house PUWER Assessor course on how to assess a machinery and workplace equipment safety for compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).

Over three days, delegates learn about PUWER, including how individual regulations apply in real operational environments. The course goes beyond theory, focusing on how to assess machinery, identify hazards, evaluate safeguarding, and judge compliance using recognised standards and structured risk assessment techniques.

The training places strong emphasis on practical application, including real-world examples, group exercises and on-site assessment activities, enabling delegates to confidently apply PUWER principles within their own workplaces.
